August 2016

The Moorefield Lions Club will be hosting a Chicken BBQ at Moorefield Town Park beginning at 10am on Saturday, August 27. Price is $4 per half.

East Hardy High School's National Honor Society will be holding a bake sale and car wash on Saturday, August 27 from 9am to 3pm at Kerr's Sales and Service, Rt. 55, at Wardensville.

Join Winchester Main Street Foundation on Saturday, August 27, from 11:30am-2ish at the V2 Piano Bar & Lounge, 103 N. Loudoun St., Winchester, VA, for the Second Annual Champagne Brunch to benefit Blue Ridge Hospice.  Fun, prizes, tasty bites and sips during social hour to be followed by Brunch.

September 2016

The 14th Annual Friends of West Virginia Agriculture Golf Tournament will be held Friday, September 15, at 1pm at Valley View Golf Course, Moorefield, WV.  Deadline for reservations is Sept. 2 and may be made by calling 800-398-4630, Ext. 308.  Post tournament BBQ and awards presentation.

Hawse Health, Baker Location, will be having their annual Public Health Fair on Friday, September 16th from 8am - Noon.  There will be refreshments provided and vendors present.  Additionally, the following services will be offered:  Bone Density Screenings - Free, Bloodwork - Women $23, Men w/ PSA $28, Custom Dental Whitening Tray w/ Solution (by appointment) - $50, New Dental Patient Exam w/ X-Rays (by appointment) - $25.  If interested in the Dental Services, please call 304-897-5915 x267 to schedule your appointment.
