The 31st annual Wardensville Fall Festival will be take place October 7, 8 & 9th at the Wardensville Carnival Grounds.  There will be food, music, crafts and vendors with proceeds benefiting the Capon Valley Volunteer Fire Company.

The Mathias-Baker Volunteer Fire Company's 14th Annual Sportsman Bash will be held on October 15 at the Mathias-Baker Fire Station on Rt. 259.  Donation per ticket is $25 and guns may be exchanged for $400 cash.  Doors open at 11am and drawings begin at 1pm.  Must be 18 years old to claim prizes.  Tickets may be purchased online at www.mathias-bakerfireco4.com.

Eastern West Virginia Community & Technical College will be hosting a Trunk-N-Treat event at their Moorefield campus on October 30.  The event will be held from 5:30pm - 7:30pm (rain or shine) for children up to age 12.  More information is available on the Eastern WVCTC Facebook page or at www.EasternWV.edu.

Wardensville Treat or Treating will take place on Monday, October 31 from 6-8pm.  Participants are encouraged to visit the Wardensville Carnival Grounds where a "Trunk or Treat" event will be held.
